Description
I had never painted these iconic signs in Roanoke until a request from a patron who wanted a pair of city scenes for her foyer and liked my piece "Always Changing". She couldn't wait a month (I had several other commissions to finish first) but another patron wanted them both when he found out they were available. All's well that ends well! It was a fun piece to paint with so much contrast from the bright light of the sunrise and an interesting variety of shapes and colors.
