I was commissioned to paint a beach scene- "some waves and a little of the shore"- just before Christmas. We were having quite a cold spell as I painted and it was great to be in my nice warm studio imagining I was sitting watching the waves roll in on a warm summer day...
This is a painting of the Atlantic Ocean from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
