When Lilacs Bloomed metal print by Bonnie Mason. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

I love to paint these lilacs every year and always enjoy pairing them with diffferent tulips. It was a challenge to capture the light from the window shining through the white tulips. The cloth to the left is an old skirt I no longer wear but kept because I loved the pattern and colors. When I'm putting together a composition- anything is fair game!

About Bonnie Mason
I grew up exploring the outdoors here in Southwest Virginia. My family would often go for long drives and end up hiking in the woods where my parents would identify plants and trees and point out animal tracks as they taught us to appreciate the awesomeness of God's creation. I can still remember the first time I saw a pink "Ladies Slipper" growing up out of a pile of leaves deep in a forest. Those adventures with my family still inspire my landscape paintings today but I'm also blessed with a group of friends who love to paint outdoors. Together, we've gone places -both physically and artistically- I'd never have gone alone.
