Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

I was blessed to spend a peaceful September morning plein air painting on this lovely sunflower farm in Buchanan, Virginia. Every direction I looked there were things I'd love to paint. Finally I settled down in the shade of some trees along a fence row. By the time I finished I was standing in complete sunlight and beginning to get a sunburn on the back of my legs and needed to put up an umbrella to shade my canvas from the intense light so I could see what I was doing. There was a good breeze every so often so I had to hold the umbrella (which was attached to my easel) to keep everything from flying away! Spending so much time looking and translating it into paint helped when I decided to paint a large studio version of this patchwork of fields. It was the end of summer and the sunflowers were beginning to go over. I hope to be able to go back and paint there during all different times of the year. I can imagine spending a lifetime in this one location and never capturing all it's be...
I grew up exploring the outdoors here in Southwest Virginia. My family would often go for long drives and end up hiking in the woods where my parents would identify plants and trees and point out animal tracks as they taught us to appreciate the awesomeness of God's creation. I can still remember the first time I saw a pink "Ladies Slipper" growing up out of a pile of leaves deep in a forest. Those adventures with my family still inspire my landscape paintings today but I'm also blessed with a group of friends who love to paint outdoors. Together, we've gone places -both physically and artistically- I'd never have gone alone.
