Description
We took a day to explore along the Maury river last year and had time to walk along the Chessie Nature Trail which runs along the Maury River between Lexington and Buena Vista in Rockbridge County, Virginia. There are many lovely spots but this bend in the river was particularly beautiful to me because of the vivid color in the trees and reflections contrasting with the grays in the distance.
